Loud Muscle Science, LLC. Is Recalling Launch Sequence Capsules Because It Contains Undeclared Tadalafil

Loud Muscle Science LLC has started a voluntary recall of Launch Sequence capsules in the United States and Canada. The product contains tadalafil, which is an undeclared ingredient in the dietary supplement.

Tadalafil is an FDA-approved phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction. It is not approved for use in dietary supplements by the US.

The laboratory analysis that Loud Muscle Science requested on the product revealed the presence of tadalafil. The presence of tadalafil makes the capsules an unapproved drug since safety and efficiency have not been met, which is a ground for recall.

Risk Statement

Taking unintentional tadalafil has severe health consequences. Tadalafil interacts with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) and can lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.

People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates; hence, they are at an increased risk of suffering from a potentially fatal drop in blood pressure if they unknowingly take tadalafil.

Profound hypertension that results from taking tadalafil can result in a heart attack, stroke, or even death.

To date, Loud Muscle Science has not received any reports of adverse events associated with the use of these products.

These products were sold via Amazon under the Asin numbers indicated in the table. They were marked via the Internet and fulfilled by www.amazon.com Nationwide in the US and www.amazon.ca in Canada, eBay.com, and several retail stores.

Loud Muscle Science is notifying all the distributors and consumers of the affected products through their press statement and letters.  If you’re a consumer, you should immediately stop using the product and return it to your place of purchase for a full refund.

If you’re a distributor, you should stop distributing the affected product and contact your customers to arrange for the return of any remaining inventory. For consumers who experience problems after using these drugs, make sure to contact your physician or healthcare provider immediately.
