Delsam Pharma Artificial Eye Ointment has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of Artificial Eye Ointment Batch No. H29. The Ointment was distributed to the consumer level through Delsam Pharma. The products could contain microbial contamination and possible product package leaking or compromised.

Using contaminated ointment can cause eye infections that could lead to blindness. To date, Global Pharma Healthcare has not received any reports of adverse reactions related to the use of this product.
Artificial Eye Ointment, which contains 15% mineral oil and 83% white petrolatum, comes in 3.5 grams / 1/8 oz. The ointment is an eye lubricant used to treat dry eyes.
The product comes in a white aluminum tube packed in a paper carton. The product was distributed nationwide throughout the USA by Delsam Pharma through their online sites.
Global Pharma Healthcare has notified Delsam Pharma about this recall and instructed them to return the affected products.
Wholesalers, distributors, and retailers are also urged to stop further distribution of this product and return any inventory left. Consumers who have bought this product should discontinue use immediately and discard any remaining ones safely.
